Kamloops Farmers Market - Kamloops, BC
The Kamloops Farmers Market
The farmers market is back. Happy times.
What a gorgeous sunny morning for the first day of the Kamloops Farmers Market. This section of St. Paul Street is fairly quiet in earlier hours, but became a bit more abuzz later in the morning.

Arigato Sushi - Kamloops, BC
Arigato Sushi. I had to step back from this particular entry for a breather and gather my chi before writing this. If you have been reading this food blog since the beginning, you may recall that I have some aversions to eating fish and other seafoods so far away from well, the sea. I know, it’s kinda silly, but that’s what I’m working on.
Sægreifinn The Sea Baron - Reykjavík, IS
Sægreifinn or Seabaron is a little seafood shack on the marina in Reykjavík, Iceland. This is also the place where I discovered my love for malt drinks. I came for the lobster stew. A local resident, I was chatting with earlier in my visit, spoke about this shack passionately.

Bistro 326 - Kamloops, BC
Bakari Sandholt Bakery - Reykjavik, IS
Bakari Sandholt is a bakery in Reykjavík, Iceland. They have some incredible looking sweet treats, but I’m here for something a bit more substantial. With only four hours or so of daylight during the winter months, I always feel as though I’m eating dinner.
Hot House Bistro - Kamloops, BC
**UPDATE Sept 2013: The folks behind Hot House Bistro have now closed its doors. However, they also opened the Smokin' Duck Eatery at the Pond Country Market.**

Passek's Classics Café and Catering - Kamloops, BC
Passek’s Classics Café and Catering. I didn’t know this place existed. I happened to glance over one morning as I drove by and noted the $6.95 breakfast sign. Apparently Passek’s has been here for a few years.
