Homebound, we make a pit stop in Chilliwack for breakfast this morning. A Touch of Europe is a little café on Luckakuck Way among a cluster of businesses that include the BCAA and McGavin’s Bread Basket.

Now before we get to breakfast, tell me, what’s going on here?

I’m having a quick breakfast at Damien’s Belgian Waffles in Steveston Village this morning. It’s a tiny little waffle factory located in Chatham Plaza on Chatham Street. (And by “quick breakfast” I mean much, much less than two hours. This will make sense later...) It’s a bit DDE when I scan the strip mall, but once I head inside, the waffle aroma makes me forget about the exterior.

I am on my way to Princess Auto this fine morning, and I’ll need a breakfast stop. Princess Auto stocks some pretty random things in their inventory. It's not just auto. The last time I was there, I found melamine airline dinnerware, next to cigar cutters! My legitimate reason for being at Princess Auto is for jack stands, but that’s just an excuse to peruse their aisles. It doesn’t take much to entertain me, does it?

Harold’s Family Restaurant is located just minutes down the street for a quick morning meal.

On our drive down to the coast we often leave early in the morning and find ourselves hungry by the time we hit Chilliwack. The 'Wack is a timely place to fuel up, with both petrol for the vehicle and food for us.

I love early mornings. It’s a rather peaceful time compared to the afternoon. I appreciate very much when businesses open before 7am. I have time for a quick breakfast this early morning at the Stock Pot Café. The diner is located in the busy Southgate Business Centre. It’s the industrial park where your thick-pile berber and windowpanes likely come from.

We are heading out to see a matinee movie this afternoon and at the last minute I decide I need to eat. I didn’t have breakfast this morning before going out to complete a few errands before the show. I thought I could power through and eat afterwards, but I eventually gave in to my pangs of hunger.

I’m so very happy the warm weather is starting to show up. Looks like a great morning to sit out on a patio today. I’ve heard a lot about Scott’s Inn and Restaurant for some time now, and I think it’s about time I try it. It’s the morning hours, but the heat of the sun makes it feel as though the day is later in the afternoon.

Red Star Seafood Restaurant, the last time I ate here was several months ago for a 10 course dinner service. I’ve heard good things about their dim sum, so I am very eager this morning to give it a go.

I dined at Hot House Bistro not too long ago for lunch. I knew about their breakfast menu back in March but I wanted to check out their lunch before I tried the breakfast.
