Longs Noodle House - Vancouver, BC
Needing a quick snack we stop into Long’s Noodle House. Coming off of a long ferry ride, having some food at Long’s Noodle House is a welcome break. Have you subjected yourself to BC Ferries lately? The fares are crazy.
We decide to just get some old standby dishes, before heading out to complete some evening tasks in Vancouver.

Real Food - Nanaimo, BC
The Old City Quarter in Nanaimo is a small section of downtown that is lined with retail shops and restaurants in refurbished spaces.
Cookies Grill - Chilliwack, BC
Pink Cherry - Salmon Arm, BC
This is my first visit to Salmon Arm, BC. We are just driving through today, but just enough time to stop for gelato at Pink Cherry.
Le Plateau Bistro - Kelowna, BC
**UPDATE January 2013: Sadly Le Plateau Bistro has closed:(***
There’s a farm in Kelowna that sells a vast selection of heirloom seeds for local gardens. Since we have to be out here in the Okanagan for other matters, I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone. There’s not a huge selection of eateries as we blaze our way down to the farm, but there is Le Plateau Bistro.
Sukho Thai - Kelowna, BC
Admittedly at times, I have a maturity level of a 12 year old. Leave it to me to take a cultural term and twist it into something for my own entertainment. That’s the main reason why I’m here at Sukho Thai. Tee, hee, hee. Some years ago, there was a phở joint on Kingsway in Vancouver, which also entertained me greatly with their name: Phở Bich Nga. Oh the memories!
